We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the Congolese community. From providing food and shelter to those in need to offering educational programs and support services, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. By supporting AIF-Without Borders, you are helping to build a brighter future for all.
As part of our humanitarian mission to enhance the dignity and well-being of vulnerable communities, we are seeking your support for the installation of equipment essential community in the towns of Katako and Tshumbe, province of Sankuru, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Your support will help to sustainably improve the living conditions of more than 1000 vulnerable households in these areas. This will enable access to basic infrastructure for the families and disadvantaged individuals, the strengthening of social cohesion and community resilience and the establishment of spaces for promoting education, health and local development. Our organization is dedicated to empowering communities by providing resources, education, and support to those in need. We believe that everyone deserves access to a better life, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Through our programs and partnerships, we strive to create a more equitable and just society for all. To accomplish our goal for the Equipment Installation project we are starting a campaign to raise $85,000 USD.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) remains one of the most pervasive human rights violations in the DRC. Its persistence is fueled by structural poverty, economic dependence, harmful social norms, limited access to productive resources, and weak community-based protection mechanisms. Economic empowerment is internationally recognized as a key driver of GBV prevention, as it strengthens financial autonomy, decision-making power, resilience, and community participation. Our goal is to start an integrated program combining economic empowerment, community-based GBV prevention, psychosocial support, and access
to justice. Currently we are focusing on the communities of Kikimi and Tshumbe. To accomplish our goal we are starting a campaign to raise $325,000 USD.

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) possesses vast arable land, abundant water
resources, and a young population. Yet agricultural productivity remains low due to limited
mechanization, soil degradation, climate vulnerability, and insufficient access to modern
technologies. The United States, particularly states like Nebraska, offers advanced agricultural
technologies, research capacity, and strong agribusiness ecosystems.

We welcome anyone who wants to contribute expertise, time, or other non‑monetary resources to our mission. Whether you’re a designer, developer, writer, researcher, or simply have a few hours to spare, your skills can make a real difference. If you’d like to volunteer, please get in touch. We’ll discuss how your strengths can best support our work.
